The solid top is made from 9cm thick end-grain beech, chosen for its durability and striking checkerboard pattern. This high-quality surface allows you to chop directly on it, while the natural end grain is gentle on knives. Every island includes a complimentary care oil and instructions, so you can maintain the beauty of your worktop for decades to come.

Beautiful & Durable Base
The base is handcrafted from redwood pine, professionally painted in your choice of Farrow & Ball colour and sealed for protection against everyday wear. For colours outside our standard swatches, simply select "Any other Farrow & Ball colour" and add your preference in the checkout notes.
